We've been all over hunting and gathering the goods for the shop and our upcoming Antiques and Garden event at Bryn Du Mansion in Granville. (This is a large endeavour for us physically as it's a three day show so estimating how much furniture and physically getting the furniture there is quite an undertaking...so, the shop will be closed Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17.) We'd love to see you at the show! There will be 40+ vendors representing 16 states and Ontario so it should be a wonderful weekend of shopping! Below are some of the new old things we've found on recent buying trips.

Fantastic green scrolly wire planters on legs, old green paint, four available.

Five piece set of cast iron lawn furniture with a perfect patina, you can't recreate this finish!

Fancy cast iron grill work, would be wonderful hanging on a wall in a garden, mounted to a bedroom wall for a headboard or attach legs and lay piece of glass on top for a one of a kind table.

Two 19th century Kramer Brothers urns WITH the arms!! These are getting hard to find and I almost always have to sit on someone at an auction so they go home with me!

A very funky and unusual piece of architecture, top of a garden fence or arbor? Hand made and paint as found...THAT was time consuming to assemble, lots of patience.

A wonderful Victorian peacock, this is a grand lady and a couple of times she has tried to get in my car to go home with me.
A new soy candle I recently started carrying. These are hand poured into recycled wine bottles and make the most unique gift for that hard to by for person (Mom?). Five yummy fragrances; Amber Musk, Red Currant, French Pear, Lemon Verbena and Casablanca Lily
I don't know why but I love beds restyled into benches, this one has a great look as the cutouts on the high back mirror the skirt on the front. Would be a wonderful piece inside your door as a place to sit and remove those muddy Wellingtons.
I'm always searching for architectural items. This is one of the largest brackets I have seen in a while. Sports old grey paint.
Another Kramer Brothers urn.

Jewelry handmade by us. These are fashioned out of Victorian shoe buckles and sash holders.
Our dress form had a costome change!
These just arrived last week. They are stands with grapevine nests that hold glass cups. You can use them for candles, to serve condiments at a cookout or on a mantle with moss and eggs as we have it here. So different!
A cast iron Victorian cherub mirror. At one point in it's life it would have been freestanding but we thing it would be lovely propped up or hanging.
An old carpenter's tote with original red paint. Perfect for your Memorial Day weekend parties.

Another new arrival, these standing bird candleabras are perfect on a porch or patio as they have mini hurricanes for each candle.
An assortment of old boxes for blankets, flowers, etc.
A wonderful old trunk with the best mix of old paint and rusty handles. What a great coffee table!
A darling dresser with yellow and green paint, quintessential old cottage.

And last for this post, an "old navy" long sleeve pullover, perfect to keep the chill at bay while you're out on the lake late into the evening.
